I just started the Spiritual India Forum. Having been exposed to Indian spirituality from various angles, this blog was almost pre-meditated in some ways.
A simple Google search for 'indian spirituality' or 'vedas' throws up a wild number of links leading to hundreds of resources. Upon a careful inspection, I realised that trying to capture Indian spirituality in a blog is like trying to store the sea in a pot. It is vast, complicated and layered.
Exploring and understanding Indian philosophy is pretty much akin or parallel to understanding oneself. As each layer of the philosophy unfolds, different layers from one's own consciousness keep coming to the surface. The entire process reveals the human nature.
This blog will attempt to reveal the various aspects of Indian philosophy and probably of human nature itself. I will put in a sincere attempt to restrain from showcasing any one aspect in exclusivity or trying to make a final judgement about the conflicts that so profoundly exist between any two philosophies. The blog will also grow up to be a comprehensive resource for everything spiritual in India: people, places, things and of course Gods.
Your comments, contributions and inputs would be very valuable. Just write in to me anytime. Happy Reading!
